  • Chapter One

Taking inspiration from Hokusai’s 100 Views of Mt Fuji, this project seeks to explore a Southern California beyond the glamour and fame that is usually associated with it. The experience of living here can be a quiet one - and that is what this project explores, a vision of the everyday. These moments are quiet slices of mundane life that allow the viewer to connect to this place in a layered way.

Each image is available as a variable edition of five, with pastel and colored pencil over archival pigment prints on 17x22 paper. Each chapter will contain ten images and the long-term goal will be to have a total of 100 views.

Chapter One is available as a limited edition folio. See last images in gallery.
